Track Is Hard

Brandon February 15th, 2012 by

coverground.ca recently updated an article that received a lot of attention when it was first posted in November of 2010. The title of the article is “5 Hardest Sports to Train & Compete In“. Track (not track & field) ranked #4 on the list.

Track was ranked in between Rugby and UFC. I would say that makes us pretty darn tough. One of the reasons stated for ranking so high is the lack of a second chances in track. For example, one could train for 4 years and be disqualified in a split second for a false start.

I would like to add that track is difficult because of the consistency it demands and the tough as nails attitude required to start interval after interval.
