Toronto, Canada – Monster Dash, (www.monsterdash.ca) the newest running property from Good Times Running Inc., proudly announces today that 2012 Boston Marathon winner Wesley Korir will be running “the Dash” with his wife Tarah and their daughter McKayla in Leaside this Sunday. Wesley and McKayla will lead off the Spooky Mile for kids and then cheer on 10km race favourite, mom Tarah, shortly after.
Monster Dash is a fun, family friendly run /walk event that will take place at dusk in support of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Hospital. The Hallowe’en themed event will include a Pumpkin Prance for toddlers, a ‘Spooky Mile’ for kids and a 5km and 10km timed walk/run through a truly unique course. Spectators and parents will be able to enjoy a special Sunday Dinner Meal deal at the hospital.
Runners are encouraged to show up in costume, and will be spookily entertained as they pass though “the Zombie Zone” and “The Cemetary of Dead Races” (among others!) along the course. Online registration (www.monsterdash.ca) closes Midnight, Wednesday October 24th. In-person registration will take place this Saturday, the 27th and Sunday the 28th at The Salomon Toronto store at the Shops of Don Mills plaza, located at 1090 Don Mills Road, Toronto, from 9:30 am till 9pm Saturday and 11-3 Sunday, then on site at Holland Bloorview Sunday from 4pm if space is still available.

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (formerly Bloorview Kids Rehab) is Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital.
