The “Can’t Go Wrong” Cushioning Shoe
Weight: Men’s 11.1 oz., Women’s 8.8 oz.
The NB 750 series has an award-winning reputation for being lightweight while providing considerable cushioning. This shoe is suitable for runners with a neutral gate and the desire for a cushy ride. New Balance’s N-ergy® technology in the heel puts the 759 in a class of its own when it comes to shock absorption.
The wide toe box and ability to purchase in varying widths makes this shoe a great candidate to house your much-needed orthotics. Recent 759 predecessors carried the extra weight of the N-lock lace system and the sausage laces; however, NB has decided to do away with the bells and whistles and bring the 759 closer to its original form.
This shoe has been recognized for its ability to support a range of athletes from your lightweight marathoner to those competing in the Athena/Clydesdale division.
According to New Balance the 759 received 4.5 stars on a 5-star scale for categories of comfort, style and overall.
Feedback: Minimal forefoot support, sizing runs large, tongue on the women’s shoe is too short.
