Run Swiftly: a FITting name

Run Swiftly: a FITting name

If you prefer to run with modest coverage but are planning to still go out and sweat your butt off, this shirt will work wonders for you.  It is the ultimate running short sleeve shirt.

The lululemon Run Swiftly Short Sleeve Tech is constructed with weightless fabric that hugs your body to reduce drag but still doesn’t cling too tight so you can still hide last night’s 3 course meal.  It’s perforated throughout the high sweat areas, has great ventilation, and is longer in length than most run tops for those of us who have some height.

On top of all of that lululemon has gone above and beyond to make sure that you don’t return from your run with any chaffing by make the body of the shirt seamless.  It is a highly technical shirt with interwoven silver threads which have anti-microbial properties to reduce the rate of growth of bacteria so your clothes don’t smell as much.  The price is on the steep side but I think it’s worth it because they last a long time and wash up like new without fading.

The only caution that I would give with the Swiftly is that the fabric is a weave and can snag easily so make sure that your pets and Velcro stay far away from it.  Also, stores sell out of these shirts quickly and they get new colours in all the time so if you find a colour you like, don’t wait because it won’t be there when you go back.

Price: $58.00
