Josh Eberly likes to train by feel. Eberly keeps healthy by listening to his body and giving it what he needs, along with a daily dose of dessert to be shared with his wife, best friend, and training partner, Maren Eberly. Although his own business, Run Sleep Design, Inc. demands 50-60 hours a week, it also allows him the flexibility to train and take care of himself when it counts.
Runners Feed: Take us through a typical day of your life
Josh Eberly:
Wake up at 6am – work until 8:30am. Go out for my first training session.
Return from training and fuel and shower and then back to work until 4pm.
My wife Maren Eberly gets home from work and then we go out for run 40-60 mins and talk about our day and exercise our dog Marley!
Post run- core or stretch a little and then shower again. Then I go back to the office and work until dinner.
Every night is a dessert night and then relax , sleep, and repeat the next day!!
RF: Do you work full or part-time while training? If so, what do you do? If not, what has kept you afloat while you pursue your dream?

RF: What do you do on a regular basis to make sure you toe the line healthy?
JE: Chiropractor once a month. Recovery runs are very important to me! Ice in the river (in the summer time). Most importantly, I listen to my body. If I feel bad, then I take the day off or take it really easy.. If I feel good, then I go for it! Core, push-ups, chin-ups and lifting help keep my body strong!
Rapid Fire
RF: My onsite support team will include…
