Even the Best Have A Hard Time Getting Out the Door

Even the Best Have A Hard Time Getting Out the Door

This summer elite distance runner Kaitlin Gregg, who runs for New Balance Silicon Valley, nearly clinched her spot in the 10,000 meter race at the 2012 US Olympic Trials after running a huge personal best of 33:01. If you know anything about American women’s distance running, you know this is quite the feat. While Kaitlin is very diligent about adhering to the plan that her father/coach has designed, she isn’t afraid to tell her followers that she too has trouble getting out the door some days.

In Kaitlin’s most recent blog entitled, “Getting Out the Door is the Hardest Part“, she writes about this internal battle and reminds her followers that it is highly unlikely that you will return from your run regretting having gone out the door!

If you would like to follow an ambitious young women who will tell you the honest truth about the life of an elite runner, both the highs and the lows, I highly recommend becoming a follower of Kaitlin’s blog called “Running Joyfully“.
