Canadian Olympians to Share Lessons from London with their Community

If you’ve ever wondered what it is like to compete at the Olympics, now is your chance to find out. Speed River Track Club is hosting a unique event called “Lessons from London”, where 5 Speed River Olympians will discuss lessons they learned en route to and during the 2012 London Olympic Games.The following athletes will be sharing their lessons.

Eric Gillis (2012, Marathon)

Reid Coolsaet (2012, Marathon)

Alex Genest (2012, 3000 meter steeplechase)

Hilary Stellingwerff (2012, 1500 meters)

Taylor Milne (2008, 1500 meters)

Chris Winter (2016 Olympic hopeful)

Dave Scott-Thomas (Head Coach-Speed River Track Club)

The event will take place on October 21st at 6PM in Rozanski Hall on the University fo Guelph campus. The event is limited to 225 lucky guests, so be sure to snag your ticket now!
