Cam Levins of Black Oak, British Columbia, gave Canadians another reason to be proud tonight. The 2012 Olympian and multiple-time NCAA Champion, was recognized tonight as the most outstanding collegiate male in track and field, by winning the prestigious Bowerman Award.

Levins completed his NCAA eligibility at Southern Utah this past spring and now competes professionally for Nike. He represented Canada at the 2012 London Olympics, finishing 14th in the 5000 meter final.
LSU’s Kimberlyn Duncan received the Boweman Award on the women’s side.
